Larry E. Roberts, Jr. has garnered 30 years of business leadership experience through his for-profit Larry’s Barber College, and most recently 2 Larry’s Barber Maximus full-service salons inside Walmart located in the Chatham and Pullman neighborhoods. The mission of Larry’s Barber College is “Educating The Next Generation of Barbers.” Our belief is we are not the only game in town but we might be the BEST!

Mr. Roberts addresses the homelessness of youth and military veterans who attend Larry’s Barber College, through his not-for-profit, DATA Foundation, Inc., by providing scholarships for tuition towards enrollment. This endeavor makes Larry’s Barber College (LBC), the first school of its kind in the United States to provide student housing. The mission of DATA Foundation is “Developing tomorrow’s beauty and barber employers TODAY.”

The executive staff at DATA Foundation, Inc., and Larry’s Barber College is dedicated to furthering the advancement of the mission and vision of both organizations to ensure community engagement, social justice, diversity, and equity and inclusion, which is paramount in continuing a well-developed and received visionary organization.

Larry is the owner and Founder of LRJ Music, co-owner of Astro Kicks and Goods, and owner of the upcoming Larry’s Automotive School of Technology that will be located in Harvey, IL. He is always open to developing partnerships that line up with his views on the advancement of our current curriculum and the expansion of future endeavors.
