For the past 7 years the LEGACY Awards has become a meeting ground for successful entrepreneurs to network, exchange ideas and celebrate one another. The mission of LEGACY Weekend is to connect Black entrepreneurs of all sizes with each other and resources that can help them grow their business such as financial institutions and corporate contracts . It is also one of the largest stimulus for Black-owned businesses, having directly circulated over $1 million amongst Black owned businesses. From job creation, leadership, to hope, Black entrepreneurs are integral to the growth in our community business development is integral to growth in our community. LEGACY Weekend celebrates just that and we invite you to be a part of it through attendance, sponsorship and/or advertising your business.

We celebrate our business and community leaders with our annual awards gala, set to take place on Saturday, March 15, 2025. The awards highlights each area of importance in communities – Leadership, Education, Growth, Advocacy, Community and Youth. Our Youth award is a pitch competition between 3 young entrepreneurs and audience selected during the evening of the gala. We invite you to celebrate excellence with us!
Young Entrepreneur of the Year
Our 2025 Young Entrepreneur of The Year Winner will receive up to $25K in cash and prizes to help their vision grow, donated by experienced Black Entrepreneurs, interested in supporting the next generation of Black Entrepreneurs.

One of the signature events for LEGACY Awards Weekend is our Black Restaurant Showcase. Throughout the weekend over 15 Black owned restaurants and spirit lines will be highlighted during our awards gala on Saturday, March 15, 2025. Get ready to INDULGE!
